KOV Career Agency Contact

Your information

Privacy Notice

This notice explains what KOV Career Agency stores when you contact us or create an account, how that information is used, and how to request deletion.

Information we store

Depending on how you use the site, records may include your name, email address, phone number, account and company details, career or hiring preferences, skills, experience, region, messages, and other information you choose to provide. Contact inquiries can also include a target role, salary range, LinkedIn URL, company, market, seniority, and timeline. The contact system stores a keyed, non-reversible hash derived from the request IP address to apply a short-term submission limit; it does not store the raw IP in the lead record.

If you upload a CV, its file is stored separately in a private storage bucket. Text profile information and the KOV candidate code are database records and are not the CV file.

Why we use it

We use these details to respond to inquiries, create and operate accounts, review candidate or employer registrations, manage agreed career representation or talent-sourcing work, coordinate introductions, administer subscriptions or invoices where applicable, protect the service, and meet applicable obligations.

Who can see it

KOV administrators can access unmasked candidate records for agency operations. A candidate can access their own account and profile. Employers using the candidate directory receive a masked view: the KOV candidate code, initials, skills, experience, and region, not the candidate's legal name, personal email, phone number, or CV link.

Account, profile, contact, and file data are handled by the configured hosting and database providers. If online billing is enabled for a transaction, the payment provider processes payment details under its own privacy terms.

CV retention and other records

The scheduled CV cleanup is designed to delete a candidate's CV file after 30 consecutive days without activity. For this rule, activity means a successful login, a candidate profile update, or an introduction status change. The cleanup marks the CV-file record as deleted and keeps text profile data and the KOV candidate code.

The 30-day inactivity rule applies to CV files, not to text profiles or contact inquiries. The current system does not define the same automatic 30-day deletion period for those other records; they may remain while needed to operate an account, respond to an inquiry, or manage an engagement, subject to a deletion request and applicable obligations.

Request access or deletion

To ask a question about your information or request deletion, email daniel@kovcareeragency.org. Include the email address associated with your inquiry or account and describe what you want removed. Requests are handled by KOV; there is no self-service account-deletion control on the site. Some records may need to be retained where an applicable legal or contractual obligation requires it.
